In his previous role as Finance Director for a Birmingham-based leisure management company, Ameet Samani identified a need to provide high quality reliable cleaning and maintenance services at a competitive price. In 2009 he joined Brass Facilities, with the intention to set out and demonstrate that his aspiration could be achieved. Now in its sixth year of trading and employing five full time regional managers and supervisors, Brass Facilities has fulfilled his goal. In addition to managing day to day operations, Ameet is often the first face to face contact for new and prospective customers for whom he will design and deliver the most appropriate personalised contract package.

General Manager

For over 20 years Mark has successfully managed teams and individuals within a variety of working environments including customer service, sales, finance, healthcare, retail and distribution, training and live events, all of which have provided Mark a great insight into the demands, expectations and standards of many if not most working environments.

Mark has a wealth of experience of general and operational management, customer service, area and account management, training and development, planning and organisation and event management all of which have provided Mark a depth of transferable knowledge, skills and abilities that will serve the clients and staff of Brass Facilities well.

Mark’s passion is to build hard working and successful teams who enjoy working for and alongside each other and share the common goals of doing the best job possible and delivering outstanding customer service at all times.

Outside of work Mark is passionate about music and concerts, golf although rarely seems to have the time to play, family life with wife and teenage daughter and also watching intellectually stimulating television like Big Brother, I’m a celebrity, The Apprentice, soaps etc.

Sean Gallinagh

Finance & Office Manager

Sean joined Brass in October 2018 in order to facilitate Brass’ growth.

Starting his career within the banking industry, he quickly learned that the customer is the heart of everything a great business does.

Sean progressed his career within customer services and account management, and later developed a passion for numbers. Studying mainly in the evening, he gained his AAT Level 4 Qualification, and moved into the field of accountancy. This took him into the waste industry where he developed his accountancy skills. After his company was taken over, Sean decided to look for a new challenge, and joined Brass.

Now, as Finance manager, Sean is looking after the day to day finance operations of Brass, dealing with the production of our customer invoices and overseeing our credit control.

When not at work, his time is mainly spent looking after his two children.

Reactive Maintenance Manager

My background and work experience have been mainly in the services industry with over 30 years in plant hire. Working for both private and public companies I gained a varied background in sales, credit control, health and safety, training, administration, transport control and maintenance, budget projecting and cost control.

 Working in and around the construction industry for this period of time I gained a lot of construction and property maintenance experience and for the last 10 years I have put that knowledge to use by working in the property building and maintenance sector working in a managerial capacity and also hands on across most of the trades.

My passion outside of work has been building new houses and renovating older houses, building and flying model aeroplane’s when I get the chance and playing various sports.

Married with two grown children, a daughter and a son who have also gone on to work as designers and makers.

I joined Brass Facilities in March 2019 after being enrolled on an apprenticeship via my current college. I joined Brass after seeing the high level of dedication that had made the company as strong as it is. I had been assigned to the operations support team and over the past couple months I have learnt more than I could have hoped for.

My role designates in working to support customers with our services in regards to their residential and commercial sites, plus helping out as much as I can with our hard-working reactive, cleaning, gardening and office team.

Prior to joining Brass, I had a passion in studying Law and psychology, though my work settled as an IT technician. On a personal note, I currently attend college once a fortnight in the morning where I study IT and work towards my business and Administrative Diploma, this helps in progressing my skills for Brass facilities. In addition, I study psychology in the evening at my second college consistent with coping and dealing with Mental health, in doing so, I look to help the people around me on a day to day basis.
